Fighting food insecurity at home and abroad

Students participating in the National FFA Organization develop skills that make them better leaders moving forward.  Marilyn Ross, Program Director for the Global and Hunger Initiative for the National FFA Organization, says food insecurity isn’t just global – it’s a struggle that affects local communities as well.  Feeding the World, Starting at Home is an initiative launched by National FFA but carried out through state and local FFA organizations that addresses the food insecurity at a state, local and global level. 

Ross tells Brownfield this initiative embraces the FFA Motto:  Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.
