Donnelly visits Indiana ethanol facility

Indiana’s 2^nd Congressional District representative took a behind the scenes tour of POET Biorefining in Alexandria, Indiana Wednesday.  Joe Donnelly, Indiana’s democratic nominee for Senate said, “Indiana is fortunate to have such a vibrant industry that benefits so many Indiana farmers, producers at facilities like this one, and families at the pump.”  Dave Hudak, Secretary of the Indiana Ethanol Producers Association and General Manager of POET Alexandria says the ethanol industry is essential to Indiana’s economy.

Donnelly said, “We (America) needs to go all-in on American energy production to stop sending tax dollars overseas.”

Steve Pittman, President of the Indiana Ethanol Producers Association says all elected officials have an open invitation to visit our facilities and learn more about the importance of the ethanol industry to the state.
