Trends, risks and opportunities in farmland
One of the sessions at the recent Iowa Farm Bureau Economic Summit in Ames was entitled “Trends, Risks and Opportunities in Farmland”. One of the speakers was Jim Knuth, senior vice president of Farm Credit Services of America.
During his presentation, Knuth touched on several topics, including who is buying farmland, a sustainable land value philosophy, interest rates and ag production margins.
