‘Defending’ Nebraska agriculture–and consumer choice

The alliance of Nebraska livestock groups called We Support Agriculture (WSA) is approaching its two-year anniversary.

WSA was formed to “protect and defend” Nebraska’s livestock industry from attacks by animal rights groups, particularly the Humane Society of the United States, which has been working to increase its presence and visibility in Nebraska.

Earlier this year, WSA hired Michelle Ehresman as its first executive director.  Recently, Ehresman gave Brownfield an update on the organization’s activities.
