Using cover crops to save nitrogen following drought

There seems to be a good deal of interest this fall regarding cover crops as a way to hold nitrogen in the soil following a dry growing season.  

In this interview with Brownfield, Iowa Soybean Association environmental scientist Chris Jones explains how cover crops can help retain the nitrogen left high and dry by this year’s drought and enhance next year’s crop performance.
