ASA president discusses farm bill, ‘demand destruction’

At the regional drought forum in Omaha this week, Brownfield had a chance to visit with Syracuse, Nebraska farmer and American Soybean Association president Steve Wellman about what he hopes to see happen with the 2012 Farm Bill. 

Wellman also talked about what he fears could be a longer-term consequence of the 2012 drought—“demand destruction” for soybeans and feed grains.
