Will Iowa’s Nutrient Management Strategy satisfy the EPA?
Iowa agriculture secretary Bill Northey says the reaction from farmers to the state’s proposed nutrient management strategy has been encouraging. And Northey remains convinced that they will respond positively to the new plan.
But will the voluntary program be enough to appease the federal EPA?
