Champaign County, Illinois farmland clears $15k per acre

A 173-acre Champaign County farm sold for $15,375 an acre Wednesday. It’s believed to have set a new local record, according to a news release issued by Murray Wise Associates. 

The land, two miles east of Urbana, sold to two local farmers and an investor.
