Building exports a relationship at a time
More than 200 foreign soybean buyers met face-to-face with U.S. soybean growers this past week in Davenport, Iowa. Jim Sutter, the CEO of the US Soybean Export Council, says relationships are important for everything that happens, but he stresses that the importance of the personal relationship is very high when it comes to promoting a U.S.-grown commodity for which there are an abundance of competitors.
