Hormel donating food in Pilger, Neb.

Hormel Foods is donating a semitrailer load of food to assist with tornado relief efforts in Pilger, Nebraska.  In a news release, Hormel says the company is donating microwave meals, soups, SPAM products, and 200 pounds of boneless pork loins to help feed those in need.  Employees from Hormel’s Fremont Plant are going to Pilger to aid in the cleanup.

Pilger was devastated Tuesday by unusual twin tornadoes that tore through the middle of the small town.

Five-year-old Calista Dixon was killed when her family’s mobile home was hit by the twister.
