19 named to United Soybean Board
Nineteen soybean growers have been appointed to the United Soybean Board. U.S. Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack appointing five new directors and 14 returning directors who were nominated by their qualifying state soybean boards

- James D. Sneed, Senatobia, Mississippi*
- Daniel J. Corcoran, Piketon, Ohio*
- Ellie W. Green, Lynchburg, South Carolina*

The nineteen appointees will begin their three-year terms in December at the USB’s annual meeting in St. Louis.
The 70 farmer-directors of the USB oversee the investment of the soybean checkoff funds in projects designed to increase the value of U.S. soybeans and soybean products.
