Chinese siblings trial date moved

A pair of siblings from China will stand trial next September, accused of trying to steal patented corn seeds from Iowa test fields, according to court records. The Des Moines Register says the brother and sister were to stand trial December first, but a motion to separate the two trials was denied. The siblings are among seven Chinese citizens facing similar charges stemming from an FBI investigation dating back to 2011 after the brother was found digging in a Pioneer test field in Iowa.
