Racing with ethanol
This is the second year for the American Ethanol Super Truck Series in Wisconsin. Pete Raskovic says they run E-98 in his son’s truck sponsored by the Wisconsin Corn Growers Association and Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board. He says the truck has tremendous power and the engines are exceptionally clean when torn down at the end of the year. “It’s just a great fuel.”
The series has generated a lot of national attention and Raskovic says it is proving to be a great way to let the public know that ethanol works.
The next race in the series will be Saturday, May 16th at Dells Raceway Park in Wisconsin Dells. It is the American Lung Association – Wisconsin Chapter: Clean Air Choice Night Race. Any ethanol blend E-85 or higher is considered a clean air choice fuel.
Details and the full race schedule is available here.
