Minnesota Farm Bureau Young Farmer & Rancher program growing

Pete Henslin

The chair of Minnesota Farm Bureau’s Young Farmer & Rancher (YF&R) program says membership continues to grow.

Pete Henslin of Dodge County tells Brownfield there’s strength in numbers.

“The more numbers that we have in there, the stronger our voice is when we got to talk our lawmakers.”

He says Minnesota’s YF&R program is up to almost 30,000 members whose primary focus is involvement.

“Staying active in the ag organizations that allow us farmers to have a voice and stand up for ourselves.”

Henslin encourages anyone passionate about agriculture who is 35 or younger to look into Minnesota’s YF&R program.
