Ohio Beef Expo celebrates 30th Anniversary
The president of the Ohio Cattlemen’s Association says the Ohio Beef Expo has become the premier event for the Ohio beef industry. The expo celebrated its 30th anniversary last weekend and President Joe Foster says looking ahead to the future, he hopes the expo will continue to expand and build upon the youth programs.
“We have youth activities as far as judging contests and quality assurance that we’re very proud of and we need to continue to find ways to engage them and help nurture youth in their leadership abilities,” says Foster.
The expo also recognized cattle exhibitors that have participated since it began. They are Earl and Cynthia Arnholt of Medina County; Byland Shorthorns of Ashland County; Fawley Farms and Maple Valley Farms, both of Highland County; and Raines Angus of Pennsylvania.
