USDA and FFA sign formal partnership

Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue has signed a memorandum of understanding between the USDA and FFA. Perdue signed the partnership agreement this Wednesday, “We know the age of farmers is getting older and we need the vitality of these youth. Very sharp young people. Whether it’s agriculture or civic responsibility these kids have it going on.”  Perdue says it formalizes the informal relationship USDA and FFA have that supports and promotes agriculture, especially youth in agriculture, :and prepare the workforce of tomorrow for unique careers in agriculture.”
