Equine Science at Southeast Missouri State

Students in the Equine Science program at Southeast Missouri State University have hands-on opportunities. Beth Uelsmann Figueroa has been teaching equine science at Southeast Missouri State for 18 years. Her classes aren’t taught from just a textbook, students spend a lot of hands-on time at her family’s horse farm near Benton, Missouri.
