What are the plausible climate scenarios agriculture may face in the future?  What can the agriculture industry do immediately to build its capacity to adapt and become more resilient?

Greg Page, executive Chairman for Cargill says the majority of farmers he meets with acknowledge that there has been an evolution in climate and weather patterns in the United States over the past 30 years.  But he says – there is resistance in having the conversation publicly.

However, he says now is the time for the agriculture industry to being having these conversations in order to prepare for changes that may need to be made to preserve the climate and protect farmers’ profitability.
