In 2020 the US had a record 22 $1billion severe weather events and natural disasters including the Midwest derecho, hurricanes and wildfires which contributed to $6.5 billion in crop losses alone. In this Managing for Profit, American Farm Bureau economist Danny Munch explains how risk management programs refunded almost half of those losses and the importance of insuring your farm in the event of natural disaster.
