Not much change in grain outlook

The outlook for major commodities in not all that bright.  Scott Girlt, research associate for the Food and Agriculture Policy Research Institute says crop production has been excellent and there are heavy stocks of grain to work through before the farm income picture improves.  Huge crops have contributed to the downturn in market prices and in farm income.  Girlt tells Brownfield he still doesn’t see a dramatic improvement in corn, and although soybeans look better, he says they have more to lose than corn.  Corn and soybeans are both doing fine, however, when compared to wheat.
