CME milk, cash dairy lower Thursday

Milk futures were mostly lower and the cash dairy markets were lower Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

November Class III milk was up $0.05 at $17.15.  December was down $0.34 at $17.11.  January was down $0.25 at $17.24.  February was down $0.31 at $17.62.  March through October contracts ranged from eight cents higher in May to nineteen cents lower in March.   

Dry whey was down $0.0050 at $0.41. No sales were recorded. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.02 at $1.60.  No sales were recorded. 

Cheese barrels were down $0.01 at $1.67.  One sale was recorded at $1.6825. 

Butter was down $0.0925 at $2.5975 .  Two sales were recorded at that price. 

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.20.  No sales were recorded.
