CME milk futures, cash dairy down Tuesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were down Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

January Class III milk was down $0.34 at $18.73.  February was down $0.35 at $18.52.  March was down $0.40 at $18.74.  April was down $0.27 at $19.20.  May through November contracts ranged from seven cents lower in November to nineteen cents lower in May.

Dry whey was down $0.0375 to $0.3725.  Five sales were recorded from $0.3725 to $0.38.

Cheese blocks were unchanged at $2.00.  Two sales were recorded at $1.9850 and $1.99.

Cheese barrels were down $0.08 at $1.6550.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Butter dropped $0.10 to $2.60.  Three sales were recorded from $2.60 to $2.65.

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.36.  No sales were recorded.
