CME milk futures, cash dairy mostly higher Monday

Milk futures were higher and the cash dairy markets were mostly higher Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. 

April Class III milk was up $0.04 at $15.61.  May was up $0.31 at $16.72.  June was up $0.30 at $17.34.  July was up $0.20 at $17.81.  

August through February contracts ranged from five cents lower in February to seventeen cents higher in August.   

Dry whey was down $0.01 at $0.38.  One sale was recorded at that price. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0350 at $1.55.  Six sales were recorded, ranging from $1.5250 to $1.5550. 

Cheese barrels were up $0.0375 at $1.5675.  Two sales were recorded at $1.5675 and $1.5825. 

Butter was up $0.03 at $2.97.  Three sales were recorded at that price. 

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0050 at $1.1375.   Two sales were recorded at $1.1350 and $1.14.
