CME milk futures & cash dairy mostly higher Tuesday

Milk futures and the cash dairy markets were higher except for butter and nonfat dry milk Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

December Class III milk was up $0.16 at $16.32.  January was up $0.44 at $16.80.  February was up $0.33 at $17.02.  March was up $0.21 at $17.58.  April through November contracts ranged from nineteen cents higher in September to six cents higher in October.  

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.40.  Two sales were recorded at that price. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0525 at $1.60.  Two sales were recorded at that price. 

Cheese barrels were up $0.0650 at $1.60.  Six sales were recorded ranging from $1.5650 to $1.60. 

Butter was down $0.0125 at $2.67.  Two sales were recorded at $2.6875 and $2.69. 

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0050 at $1.1650.  Seven sales were recorded, ranging from $1.16 to $1.17.
