CME milk futures, cash dairy mostly up Tuesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly up except butter Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

July Class III milk was up $0.06 at $13.98.  August was up $0.34 at $15.23.  September was up $0.27 at $16.28.  October was up $0.24 at $17.09.  November through June contracts ranged from seven cents lower in December to four cents higher in November.

Dry whey remains unchanged at $0.2275.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were up $0.0550 at $1. 50.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese barrels were up $0.02 at $1.42.  Fourteen sales were recorded, ranging from $1.3950 to $1.42.

Butter was down $0.0050 at $2.4875.  Eight sales were recorded, ranging from $2.4850 to $2.4875.

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.0775.  No sales were recorded.
