CME milk futures up again, cash dairy mixed Thursday

Milk futures were up for a second straight day and cash dairy prices were mixed Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February Class III milk was up $0.15 at $17.96.  March was up $0.31 at $17.93.  April was up $0.28 at $18.29.  May was up $0.31 at $18.76.  June through December contracts ranged from five cents higher in November to twenty-five cents higher in July.

Dry whey was down $0.0050 at $0.4250.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.8725.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.57.  No sales were recorded.

Butter was up $0.0125 at $2.4075.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0075 at $1.2425.  No sales were recorded.
