Milk futures higher, cash dairy lower

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange ended Monday mostly higher following a lower dollar and limited cash trade.

May Class III milk up five cents at $18.08. June nine cents higher at $18.18. July up three cents at $18.42. August six cents lower at $18.57. September through November contracts three cent higher to seven cents lower.

Dry whey down $0.0075 at $0.3750. One sale was made at that price.

Blocks unchanged at $1.75.

Barrels unchanged at $1.7725.

Butter down $0.0050 at $2.9650.

Nonfat dry milk unchanged at $1.10.
