Milk futures, cash dairy mixed

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange started the week mostly higher because of oversold positions despite a higher dollar and limited cash trade.

January Class III milk was up three cents at $15.21. February a dime higher at $15.89. March up four cents at $16.13. April eight cents lower at $16.72. May through July contracts four cents higher to eight cents lower.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.4275.

Blocks up $0.0550 at $1.50. Two sales were made at that price.

Barrels unchanged at $1.4675. One sale was made at $1.48.

Butter unchanged at $2.5450.

Nonfat dry milk unchanged at $1.1750.
