Milk futures, cash dairy mixed

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed mixed Tuesday with sluggish cash trade. 

February Class III milk up a penny at $14.00.  March up 16 cents at $14.85.  April up a dime at $14.85.  May up seven cents at $15.17.  June through October contracts unchanged to four cents higher.

Dry whey down $0.0050 at $0.35.  Eight trades were made ranging from $0.35 to $0.3550.

Blocks unchanged at $1.56. 

Barrels up $0.01 at $1.4125. 

Butter down $0.0150 at $2.2550.  

Nonfat dry milk up $0.0025 at $1.00.
