Milk futures, cash dairy mostly higher

In Class III trade at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, milk futures were mostly higher with the most active months supported by an oversold bounce. October was up $.03 at $14.71, November was $.21 higher at $15.25, December was up $.14 at $15.27, and January was $.10 higher at $15.42.

In the spot market, cash cheese was higher. Blocks were up $.035 at $1.585. The last unfilled bid was on one load at that price. Barrels were $.03 higher at $1.49. There were a total of four loads sold. The last unfilled bid was on one load at $1.49.

Butter was $.005 lower at $1.78. There were two loads sold at $1.78, along with one at $1.785. The last unfilled bid was on one load at $1.77.

Nonfat dry milk was up $.0125 at $.8825. There were two loads sold, both at $.87. The last unfilled bid was on one load at $.8825.
