Milk futures, cash dairy trade mostly higher

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange continue higher with strong butter prices supportive to markets.

December Class III milk down two cents at $18.41. January six cents higher at $19.95. February 10 cents higher at $20.30. March up 12 cents at $20.31. April through June two cents lower to seven cents higher.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.75.

Blocks up $0.02 at $1.93. Two sales were made at $1.9250 and $1.93.

Barrels down $0.0425 at $1.6325. Ten trades were made from $1.6325 to $1.66.

Butter up $0.0950 at $2.40. Twelve trades were made from $2.35 to $2.40.

Nonfat dry milk down $0.0050 at $1.6625. Three trades were made from $1.66 to $1. 6650.
