$20k in scholarships available from Ohio State Fair

High school and recent graduates who were junior fair exhibitors can apply for 2014 Ohio State Fair scholarships.

This year, $20,000 in scholarships is available to qualified students.

Applicants must:

• be a high school junior or senior (2013-2014), or a graduate continuing their education at an accredited institution.
• reside in the State of Ohio.
• have been an active participant in the Ohio State Fair Junior Division and their local County Fair.
• be eligible to participate in Junior Fair (not older than 19 years as of January 1, 2014) and still be eligible to show at their County Fair and the Ohio State Fair.

Applicants will be judged on scholastic standing, citizenship and leadership, Ohio State Fair participation, county fair participation and financial need.

Students must submit completed applications, high school or college transcripts and ACT or SAT scores, along with a photograph, by June 15, 2014.
