A robot for your bales
Vermeer plans for more autonomy in hay fields fifty years after the company introduced the world’s first large round baler.
Nicknamed “Bale Hawk,” the autonomous bale mover is designed to help producers reduce labor needs and can move bales from where they are dropped to the field’s edge or a storage area.
The concept was released as part of the company’s golden anniversary along with more automation technology for its self-propelled balers, and other digital concepts for forage management.
