Ag innovation is happening right here in Indiana

The CEO of AgriNovus Indiana says the agricultural innovation that is happening in the Midwest will make a difference in the future of the ag industry.

Beth Bechdol says Indiana’s agbiosciences sector is contributing to the economic development success in food and agriculture innovation.

She says that $1.4 billion from 60 agbioscience companies are contributing to the state’s economy by investing in new facilities or expanding current ones.

AgriNovus Indiana is highlighting the work done in the growing sector by raising public awareness, attracting a talented workforce, and connecting with other companies.

Agriculture innovation and how it’s being used to help feed a growing population were discussed during the 2017 Agbiosciences summit in Indianapolis this week.
