An Ohio farmer says the ’21 crop is the best he’s seen in 50 years of farming
West Central Ohio farmer Bob Suver says he’s extremely pleased with his crops.
“I’ve been farming 50 years and this is probably the best year that I’ve had in those 50 years,” he says.
He tells Brownfield soybean yields are 20 percent higher than previous years.
“My yields were usually in the low 60s as far as a bushel per acre and this year I’m in the low- to mid-seventies,” he says.
Bob Suver grows corn and soybeans in Clark County and says he’s getting ready to begin harvesting corn.
