BASF Highlights New Herbicide Innovations at Farm Progress Show

At the 2026 Farm Progress Show, Brownfield talked with Matt Inman, Technical Marketing Manager with BASF, about the products and innovations featured at the BASF exhibit. From crop protection products already helping farmers manage weeds and other challenges to new herbicide technology on the horizon, the exhibit offered a look at how BASF is continuing to develop tools for today’s changing production environment.

One product generating excitement is Zidua® PLUS herbicide, an upcoming BASF residual herbicide for soybeans that combines two modes of action and is designed to provide a flexible application window from pre-plant through post-emergence. The new formulation is aimed at providing extended weed-control flexibility while supporting resistance management.
