Chezem to keynote Indiana Pork annual meeting

Linda Chezem, professor in the Department of Youth Development and Agricultural Education at Purdue University will keynote Indiana Pork’s annual meeting Tuesday, January 28th.  Josh Trenary, Indiana Pork executive director says Chezem will be discussing public health issues and how they relate to agriculture.  While it isn’t a topic that is often discussed, he says it is one that impacts farmers at the local, state, and national level.

The day’s agenda also includes the presentation of service awards as well as updates on projects and programs at Indiana Pork.  Also presenting at the meeting is Jarrod Sutton, assistant vice-president of channel marketing at the National Pork Board.  Sutton will provide insight into the grocery store and restaurant companies’ mindset as it relates to modern pork production.

The meeting is January 28th at the Indiana Pork office.  Register today at indianapork.com.
