Committed to the College of Agriculture
Purdue University President Mitch Daniels says he is committed to continuing investment in the University’s College of Agriculture. During his remarks at the Ag Alumni Fish Fry on Saturday he told attendees they would see growth in the department in the very near future. “You’re going to see facilities unmatched anywhere in the world,” he says. “At which the kind of research that will feed a world of 7 or 8 billion people will take place. The College of Agriculture, which has been a huge part of Purdue’s tradition, I promise you will be an even bigger part of our future and a part of our contributions to the state, nation, and world.”
Over 1,500 people attended this year’s Ag Alumni Fish Fry.
