Corn and soybean planting have started in MO

Corn and soybean planting has just begun in Missouri as April begins, ahead of average for this time of the year.

USDA says corn planting is 2% complete, with 1% of soybeans are planted. Winter wheat condition is 77% good to excellent. Soil moisture is adequate and there’s above normal soil temperatures.

Pasture conditions are rated 33% good to excellent with hay supplies 65% adequate and stock water supplies 75% adequate.
