Illinois corn farmers made some headway on planting last week.

Corn emergence is at two percent, a percentage point behind normal.

Soybean planting reached 18 percent, compared to 16 percent a year ago and six percent normally.

Winter wheat is 19 percent headed with 72 percent of the crop rated good to excellent.
