Deadline Jan. 30 for I-CAL Brazil study abroad program

Agriculture students who want to study in Brazil as part of Collegiate FFA’s International Collegiate Agricultural Leadership (I-CAL) program have only a few weeks left to apply.

The deadline for I-CAL application is Jan. 30, 2013 for the program, which is tentatively slated for May 19-June 1, 2013.

12 spots are available to qualified students, who will study global agriculture and international marketing. Students will also learn about current international trade and cultural issues, as well as and gain awareness of how international markets for agricultural products operate.

Students will share their experiences with local groups after the trip. Applicants do not have to have prior FFA experience to apply.
