Directors for FSA and Rural Development named for South Dakota

The Biden administration has announced the intent to name two key state roles for USDA in South Dakota.

Southeastern South Dakota native Steve Dick has been named Farm Service Agency State Executive Director. He’s previously served as Executive Director of Ag United for South Dakota since 2005.  Prior to that he served on Senator Tom Daschle’s staff for ten years. He operates a family farm in McCook County where he feeds cattle and grows corn and soybeans.

Nikki Gronli has been named Rural Development State Director.

Gronli most recently worked as a marketing specialist at SDN Communications where she oversaw the brand, traditional marketing, and educational events.  She also was an advocate for broadband expansion in rural South Dakota.
