Indiana ag bills advance

Two big pieces of legislation are making progress in the state legislature.

SB101 – the Ag Trespass Bill passed its second reading in the House after members defeated an amendment introduced by Representative Ed DeLaney, a democrat from Indianapolis, which would have added the undefined qualifier “physical” to the term property damage.

Senator Carlin Yoder’s SB 186, Indiana’s “Right to Farm” legislation also passed its second reading last week.
