Iowa Corn Rated 77% Good to Excellent as Harvest Draws Closer
Above average temperatures over the past week helped advance crop development.
According to the latest USDA crop progress and conditions report, Iowa corn is 94 percent in the dough stage, 68 percent dented, 6 percent mature, and rated 77 percent good to excellent. Soybeans are 93 percent setting pods, 1 percent dropping leaves, and rated 77 percent good to excellent.
