OCA to hold annual meeting and banquet

Not only will the Ohio Cattlemen’s Association (OCA) annual meeting and banquet be held at a new location on Saturday, January 25, OCA Executive Director Elizabeth Harsh tells Brownfield there will be some other new features this year, beginning with the OCA county affiliate leader meeting Saturday morning, and two breakout sessions following the noon lunch, one featuring NCBA President Scott George.

“And then later that afternoon, our second breakout session will feature John Lundeen, he’s an NCBA staffer that does contract work for the checkoff,” Harsh said. “He does all of our consumer marketing research, so that will be an exciting opportunity to look at who the beef industry’s target audience really is and that’s millennial parents.”

The awards banquet Saturday evening will include the presentation of OCA beef industry awards, scholarships and the naming of the Ohio Beef Ambassador Team.
