OSU Livestock Judging team wins Keystone

For the second year in a row the Ohio State University Livestock Judging Team won the Keystone International Livestock Exposition Collegiate Livestock Judging contest this past weekend.

Judging team coach Kyle Culp says it was a team effort.

“Everyone had a good day, but we did have some that really stood out,” said Culp. “The young lady that wins the contest, Emily Limes, she won by almost 20 points which is a pretty big margin, so she did exceptionally well, but they all did a very good job.”

In addition to Limes of Bowling Green, Adam Fennig of Coldwater was reserve high individual, Rebecca Wallen of St. Paris was 4th overall, Justin Bachman of Lancaster was 6th, Paige Guenther of Rushsylvania was 8th, Duane Shawk of Bucyrus was 10th and Megan Moorman of Zenia was 17th overall.

Three contests remain for the OSU Livestock Judging Team, October 18th at the Stockman in Indiana, followed by the American Royal in Kansas City and the North American in Louisville.
