Scoular expands its organic grains business
Omaha-based grain merchandising company Scoular continues to expand its organic grains business.
Scoular says it has recently secured organic certification for its facilities in Hershey, Nebraska and Goodland, Kansas. The company has also entered into an agreement with Jessen Wheat Company of Pine Bluffs, Wyoming to handle organic grain.
Scoular says for the past five years, it has grown its organic grain handle at a pace more than double the industry growth rate.
