September prices received index down

The Indiana field office of the National Ag Statistics Service reports the September Index of Prices received by Indiana farmers at 127 was down 5 points from August and 38 points lower that September 2008. The mid-September price for all milk increased from a month earlier, but the mid-month price for corn, soybeans, winter wheat, all hogs and eggs were lower.
