Theft charges could impact U.S./China trade talks

Charges filed Monday by the U.S. Justice Department against Chinese telecommunications company Huawei could potentially impact high-level trade talks this week in Washington.

U.S. officials say progress must be made to prevent intellectual property thefts and forced sales, along with non-tariff barriers, to reach a deal.

Huawei is accused of stealing intellectual property from the United States.
