Trump says it’s too early to make a deal with China

President Trump says it’s too early to restart trade talks with China. He told reporters China isn’t ready to make a deal.

And at a rally in Iowa yesterday he said the U.S. has been facing China’s unfair trading practices for too long.

“With China, over the last five to six years, we’ve been losing $300-500 billion a year,” he says. “It’s ending.”

In an interview with National Public Radio, China’s ambassador to the U.S. said that the country IS ready to make a deal.
